Salvation
Jesus offers salvation and a personal relationship with God to all who put their faith in him. Through Jesus’ sacrifice, forgiveness of sins, we experience spiritual transformation, receive the gift of eternal life, and have a restored relationship with God. We follow Jesus and surrender our life to him, seeking to live in obedience to his teachings, and striving to love God and others
“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.” – 1 Peter 3:18.
Repentance
Repentance in Jesus involves recognizing and acknowledging our sins, turning away from them, and turning towards God. Central to repentance is placing faith in Jesus Christ and His redemptive work. Jesus’ death on the cross provided the atonement for sin, and through faith in Him, forgiveness and reconciliation with God are obtained.
“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 18:3
Baptism
Baptism is practiced and administered to individuals who have made a personal profession of faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in Believer’s baptism by full immersion in water which symbolizes the believer’s identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. It represents the washing a way of sins and the believer’s new life in Christ.
“And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.” – 1 Peter 3:21
